Reviews
We've visited Craft Burger for years since it opened and always enjoy the burgers. Today we went and tried the Sunday Roast for the first time and weren't disappointed. One of us had the pork and cracking and the other the nut roast and both were excellent, so would well recommend them. All nicely washed down with a pint of Meantime. As always, the staff were friendly and the service great.
Attentive service, good food. Disappointed with the beer selection on the day. A bottle of Guinness is better than nothing but overall underwhelming. To be fair, this was just ahead of the holidays and they had let their taps cache out because they were going to be closed the following day. I get that. Still if you are a burgers and beer place then you need to deliver on both. I recommend having a few more beers in bottles in reserve for such occasions. Buffalo wings were meaty and spicy hot. Very good; just serve them with an extra napkin or better yet, moist towelette. The spicy hot burger (el Diablo?) was anything but — however it was well cooked and juicy and overall flavorful. I’d love to come back when they actually have beer on tap.
Great service and food was really nice. The buffalo wings were exceptional! Really loved the burger it was juicy and cheesy! The onion rings made in house were crispy and flavourful.
Nothing really special. The food was quite bland and boring. The service was quite basic and by someone who clearly didn't want to be there. I was told that my drinks could be ordered via a QR code or the server and the menus are on the table. It became apparent she didn't know the choices, kept referring me to the QR code and only able to recommend one Spirit from the vast range available. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxed and family friendly for an early Friday evening
I was looking for a place around for a nice burger and found this one with good reviews and decided give a try. The place is small but well decorated and nice. You can book your table online, we did just around 30 minutes before showing up on Friday night and it was alright. I chose the chicken burger with broa and it was delicious and tasty. The other burger was the pig and cow (the online picture shows a double smashed burger with loads of bacon but apparently it was an option while ago, the option now is 1 thicker patty, not as nice as expected for the smashed version, might be worth bringing smash version back, I will leave as suggestion here. Milkshake and fries were average, good choice when eating burger but nothing special about them. Homemade mayo is a nice touch, much appreciated.
